Various Supports in Residence

First term is halfway through, and final exams are approaching. To help your student
best handle the pressure of studying for exams and adjusting to campus life, you may
want to recommend to your student to take advantage of the various
resources available in residence and on campus.

During this time of the year, Academic & Leadership Programmers (ALPs) in each
residence will organize ‘Prof Meet & Greet’ events, and ‘Exam Prep Group’
opportunities. On campus, the Student Development Centre will also hold workshops
on developing study skills, writing multiple-choice exams, managing time, and more.

Our Residence Counsellors are also available for free, confidential counselling to talk
about topics ranging from managing stress to general health and wellness.
Encourage your student to email needtotalk@uwo.ca to book an appointment.
